Greg,
There a different types of faucet valves, some have washers, some are "washerless". You can buy replacement parts for either. Go to a plumbing supply store armed with the model faucet and ask for the parts to stop the leaking faucet. Depending on the type, you will return either with rubber washers or small plastic balls with a holw through it for the water flow. Shut off the water supply closing the valves underneath the sink. Then you can take apart the valve and replace the washer or plastic valve body.
