: : The faucet in my bathroom sink has a slow drip. I have replaced the aerator to no avail. What should I do?

: Greg,
: There a different types of faucet valves, some have washers, some are "washerless". You can buy replacement parts for either. Go to a plumbing supply store armed with the model faucet and ask for the parts to stop the leaking faucet. Depending on the type, you will return either with rubber washers or small plastic balls with a holw through it for the water flow. Shut off the water supply closing the valves underneath the sink. Then you can take apart the valve and replace the washer or plastic valve body.

: Chris

Many brand faucets have various types. If this message is not to late, turn off the water supply and take apart the faucet before making the trip to the hardware store. Armed with the parts, you have a better chance of getting all you need in one trip. If you are uncomfortable about taking apart the faucet, pick up a how to book. Almost all of them give pictures about what the inside of faucets look like.

Thanks, Chris, for your help.
